Senior Business Analyst

JD - Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure they align with business goals.
• Create detailed requirement specifications, including user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure clear and effective communication of requirements to the development team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and update functional and non-functional specifications.
• Create and manage traceability matrices to link requirements to test cases.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to design solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure that the proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
• Review and validate the implemented software against documented requirements.
• Participate in testing activities, including test planning, test case development, and defect tracking.
• Assess the impact of changes to requirements and assist in change management processes.
• Manage and prioritize change requests to maintain project scope and timeline.
• Seek opportunities to optimize processes and improve the efficiency of requirement gathering and analysis.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
• Leverage your knowledge of supply chain management and familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) within the automotive industry to drive project success.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
• Business Analysis Professional certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
• 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, modeling tools, and project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of software development processes and technologies.

Tools and Technologies:

• Requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Diagramming tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart).
