Additional Responsibilities
· Digital Product Support Level 1
o Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service experience
o Serve as technical support resource providing diagnostic application support for Cummins electronic tools on basic and slightly complex issues in a level 1 capacity.
o Basic proficiency in troubleshooting software product and application issues
o Maintain knowledge and technical understanding of current products and new products.
Product & Service Information Level 1
o Intermediate (familiar to proficient) understanding of Cummins products (engines, power generators, components, marine products, high horsepower products, Dodge applications, etc)
o Intermediate (familiar to proficient) understanding of diesel engine operation, parts, and warranty support to our end users and fleet users.
o Understanding of Logistical concepts.
o Understanding and ability to expand on knowledge of Engine Familiarization.
o Interpret schematic/blue prints/wiring diagrams.
Parts Support (Email)
o Strong written communication skills and customer service experience
o Knowledge of how to leverage ERP systems to handle order management activities
o Capable of navigating multiple systems to locate information needed to provide quotes/pricing/parts availability information, etc…
o Capability to communicate across distribution functions and nodes to aid in order management activities to handle customer requests
