Having Experience in System Hardware
Providing Full End Support for Linux Servers
Working on 24/7 support with rotational Shifts on both Linux and VMware
Installing Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 6.x,7.x Server builds and installation required software, Monitor server performance and availability
Configuring remote connection tools like SSH
Creating/increasing File systems in Logical Volume Manager
File system Cleanup, Disk Utilization Activities
Managing Swap & Memory Utilization using top and increase Swap
Installing required applications using YUM or RPM on the Linux servers as per the user requirement
Providing Special permissions to particular users on Linux Servers
Scheduling and monitoring Cron jobs
Managing users & groups and their access permissions
Recovery of root password
Installing & Configuring NFS for file sharing
Implementing BONDING interface on Linux environment
Troubleshoot on Network failures like NIC's
Queue monitoring & working on priority tickets
Working on Incident tickets and Resolving the alerts as per SLA
Patching Linux servers to mitigate the vulnerabilities and maintain security compliance
Vendor management submitting, tracking, closing and follow-up on open vendor cases
Perform Week-end Change activities like upgrades/reboots/application changes
