Job Description

Perform daily Linux system administration duties (user account management, Data Backup, Email) and maintenance
Hands on with Linux OS like RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu,SUSE
Should have worked on in Virtualization (Vmware,ESXi)
Candidates should have hands-on experience working in Production servers.
Expertise in Linux based applications (Apache, Tomcat, FTP, DNS, iptables, LVM).
Candidates should be responsible for managing internal and production Servers Data Centre.
Should be responsible for managing and troubleshooting all server independently
Manage uptime (availability confidentiality integrity) like cluster knowledge and hands on, then good knowledge of architecture of linux system, security and performance
Good knowledge of on shell scripting , bash or python
RHCE, RHCSA certification
VMware,SAN,NAS knowledge
Mount point restoration and mount point addition.
Plan, implement, and support changes to the UNIX/Linux Systems / network environment
Collaborate with User Support to provide Level I and II troubleshooting in support of technical solutions
Provide Detailed Documentation and Procedures for all solutions
Upgrade and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux hardware and Operating software.
User Management at OS and application level.
Monthly Patching of Linux and Windows server.
User Management at OS and application level.
Configuring and deploying servers and services like: telnet, ftp, Yum, file server, ssh, NFS , etc.
Creating new Linux and Windows server on Virtual Machine 6.0.
Adding extra space on Windows server when required, through virtual machine 6.0.
Deletion, adding a new Data store, Creating Virtual Machine Snapshots
