Job description summary

Process associate is one who assist escrow officer in opening up, closing of residential and commercial files in some of the tasks such as reviewing sales contract and loan documents to ensure compliance at closing , obtain payoffs from lenders/homeowner/condominium associations, water, sewer and other utility companies which are necessary in the transaction , also collect and prepare necessary documentation to complete the closing of the transaction, assist in post closing process by preparing loan packages and sending to lender, closing ledger and disbursing files as per instruction , initiation of wires , approval of wires, preparing documents for recording

Competencies


• Demonstrate basic knowledge of escrow. Understanding the basic nature of the domain and relating that post-closing process • - Knowing when to obtain help in case of issues • Monitors own work to ensure delivery within the desired performance standards. Understands the importance of delivery within expected time, budget and quality standards and displays concern in case of deviation. • Takes initiative to develop own technical / behavioral skills; reflects and learns from experiences of self and others. • Is receptive to new ideas and different perspectives, Questions routine/ procedures that do not seem efficient and can be improved. • Adapts to other cultures and unfamiliar situations, thinks on the feet & displays sense of urgency for completion of deliverables. • Encourages teamwork and collaboration by promoting openness and dialogue, facilitates participation of self and other team members in organizational decisions and motivates other team members and drives pride and positivity in work. Exhibits professionalism in conduct of work and respects others’ views. • Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required to interact with colleagues including customer, onshore counterpart, supervisors, team members, analysts and business teams Preferable Technical skills: • Application such as FAST, Sales force, Intelli quick, Reware, Zendesk, etc • Search tools such as Data Tree, Data Trace, Title flex, etc • Delivery tools such as E-Mail, Fedex, Fax, Real Time Mail (RTM), etc. • Retrieving information from Online sites • Should have basic knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel & Power-point) • Should have basic knowledge of Mortgage and Title Insurance Concepts Technical Skills: Educational Qualification and Experience: Minimum of 13 years of formal education – Diploma/Graduate (Commerce/Art/Business Administration) Professional work experience of 0 to 2 years.
