Role Description: Learning Program Manager (Learning PM)Role Summary: The Learning Program Manager (Learning PM) is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of learning programs aligned to business priorities. This role ensures learning initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact—serving as the operational backbone between L&D strategy, business stakeholders, SMEs, and vendors. The Learning PM translates learning strategy into structured programs, clear timelines, governance, and outcomes, enabling scale, consistency, and execution excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Planning & DeliveryLead end-to-end execution of learning programs (e.g., academies, upskilling initiatives, leadership development, technical training).Develop and manage program plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks.Ensure learning programs launch on schedule and meet defined objectives.Stakeholder & Partner ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for business leaders, HR, L&D partners, SMEs, and vendors.Facilitate alignment on scope, priorities, expectations, and success criteria.Proactively manage risks, escalations, and trade-offs.Governance & OperationsEstablish program governance, cadence, and reporting mechanisms.Track progress, issues, and decisions; provide regular updates to leadership.Ensure compliance with internal processes (budget, procurement, approvals).Budget & Vendor ManagementManage program budgets and forecasts; track spend against plan.Coordinate with external vendors and internal SMEs to ensure quality delivery.Support vendor selection, contracting, and performance tracking as needed.Measurement & Continuous ImprovementDefine and track KPIs such as completion rates, readiness, proficiency shifts, and business impact.Collect feedback and insights to continuously improve program design and execution.Partner with analytics teams to support data-driven decision-making. Skills & QualificationsStrong program and project management experience (learning, transformation, or enterprise programs).Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives in a matrixed environment.Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Comfort working with data, dashboards, and performance metrics.Experience working with SMEs, vendors, and cross-functional teams.PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification preferred but not required. Success MeasuresLearning programs delivered on time and within budget.High stakeholder satisfaction and adoption.Clear visibility into program status, risks, and outcomes.Measurable improvement in learner readiness or skill outcomes.Reduced execution friction for L&D leaders and SMEs.
